The FSSAI has proposed the draft Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2018 related to standards for frozen vegetables, frozen beans, frozen cauliflower, frozen peas, and frozen spinach. The FSSAI has also invited comments, views and suggestions from stakeholders on this notification that has been issued on 11 September 2018. here regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2018. They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. The proposed amendments are in the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011, in regulation dealing with FRUIT & VEGETABLE PRODUCTS (2.3) in the category frozen vegetables (2.3.38)
